Blue Jacket
It's too cold to Crono, at least for me. I have some n320 I want to try in some 124gr Bayou TCG. What's a load that should make minor? I tried a search, some seem to recommend using as little as 3.6 up to 4.1. That's a pretty wide spread. This is just to see how I like it at my indoor range. If I like them crono them before using them in a match this Spring. Currently I use 147 Bayous and TG. Thanks
SCTaylor
What is the target OAL for your cartridge? That'll explain some of the charge weight variation.
jt57
I use both of these bullets sized to .358 with 3.8 gr of N320 in my CZ SP-01: 120 gr Bayou TCG, COL 1.050, 1060 fps 125 gr B&B CN, COL 1.115, 1045 fps
RickT
I'm running 124RN Bayou/3.55gr N320 in my lightly sprung 9mm 1911, 1.105" OAL. The TCGs need to be loaded short, but will cycle with the same powder load. This load doesn't make minor , but 3.8gr might be in the ballpark
Blue Jacket
SC Shooting for 1.1 as it is for a CZ. Rick, I found that out about the TCGs loaded a dummy round to 1.12 and and the CZ didn't like that at all had to shorten it up. 3.8 does seems reasonable. I'll load 50 and see how it works. Been shooting TG, be curious to see if it is not as smoky. Thanks for the assist

igolfat8
If you like N320, try some Sport Pistol after you use up the VV powder. SP is the Same load, cleaner burning, more accurate IME at half the cost of VV.
