NicoR
I currently load un-processed brass so I size and decap in the same station with a Hornady Custom Grade New Dimension die. I want to start processing brass so I want to do that in different stations, and I would like to have a decapping die that allows me to change decapping pins easily and quickly. Doing that with the Hornady dies is a total PITA! Thoughts?
stick
RCBS and LEE come to mind as easy pin changes What about a universal decapping die?

Steve RA
Lee Universal decapping die works well and is easy to change pins, when you bend one ! https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwiugorDgabYAhVMuMAKHQoaB2cYABAGGgJpbQ&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAESEeD2Tvi5HUFOsLA5qVBnp76v&sig=AOD64_3jcJEzrHdv0nULPwwbYS99SwQAyQ&ctype=5&q=&ved=0ahUKEwjVpIPDgabYAhUl24MKHedlAKgQ9aACCDQ&adurl=
NicoR
I just came across these guys: https://mightyarmory.com/ Seems like my quest is over. SCTaylor
The Lee die is $15 shipped on amazon. No way I’d spend $50 on a decapping die. But if you do, let us know what you think!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DWS
Like others, I currently use a Lee Universal. However, that Die from mighty armory looks to be very high quality

Steve RA
I've been using the Lee for years and have probably bent/broken 2 or 3 pins in that time. It would be hard to hurt the die - other than the replaceable pin.

SCTaylor
So is that remedied by a change to the decapping die or tumbling/cleaning process?
NicoR
So is that remedied by a change to the decapping die or tumbling/cleaning process?I dry tumble my brass, and now I want to de-prime after that, process and wet clean with SS pins. But I can’t deprime with decapping pins that are either easy to break, hard to change or both.
Steve RA
I'd suggest skipping the dry tumbling - deprime and then tumble w/pins. After that, you may proceed as desired.

CPD7119
Not to beat a dead horse as fun as it sounds. Bit Lee universal decapping die and Squirrel daddy decapping pins to replace the lee one when it bends. Ive bent several lee and maybe one of the squirrel daddy pins. Find them on ebay and i think amazon now.
