Grand Power grip work

Recommended Posts

That is what it is, a laser cut material with adhesive backing.  It is similar to the Talon grip material but Talon does not make them for the Grand Power so this works for me.  I prefer the rubberized material over the sandpaper grit.

Springer Precision makes the grit type if you prefer that texture:  http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=298&categoryId=47

Talon makes rubber and sandpaper grips. Run the sandpaper.

Clean the frame with alcohol, apply the tape, then hit it with a heat gun til it becomes slightly rubbery. The adhesive will set like cement when it cools, and it will let the stiff material actually conform to the curves of the gun.

Do that, and they’ll last several seasons.

Talon does not make any grip tape for Grand Power pistols.  Not sure why not but they don't.  Hence the reference to Traction Grips and Springer Precision.
