Honkeymcgee
Simple question guys. For those that have loaded starline and Atlanta arms brass in 38SC. Do you use the same charge? Measurements of the brass seems near identical to me. Just want to confirm before loading a bunch up.
superdude
What brand brass does atlanta arms use? If they are different brands, to determine if the same charge will produce the same velocity, measure their volume. If their volume is different, generally the one with larger volume will require a wee bit more powder for the same velocity. Of course, this depends on just how different their volume is. magpulled
I’ve loaded both with 3n38 and through my chrono there was no noticeable difference. They were all pretty close as far as FPS. I think starline probably makes it for Atlanta arms

JMcBurn
You can just measure the case capacity to confirm. Just zero scale for empty then add water and re measure for both cases. Most accurate way to confirm they are not significantly different.
