Do you lube rifle cases then throw them into your case feeder??

Winter is here and it’s time to lead rifle cases. Never loaded them with my 650 and wondering if you guys lube your unsized cases then put them into your case feeder. 

 

Not sure on how to do this efficiently because I’m thinking my feeder and tube will get all gunned up. 

 

What so do you guys do?

Im loading .223, 308, 3006, 7.5x55 Swiss.

Only if I'm going to do 1,000+ to make it worth my while to clean the case feeder et al.  FWIW I use isopropyl alcohol to clean everything afterwards and it does take some time.

after, i spray some simple green on some paper towels and wipe the feeder out really good. pull the tube and spray it with simple green then flush well with hot water.

I must use a whole lot less lube than others do.  I lube every case that I reload - pistol and rifle.  I've never had to clean out my case feeder hopper, shell plate, or tube.  They just aren't gummy and there's no buildup.

I just do a big batch on my 650 and then clean with Simple Green afterwards.  I use a cleaning rod with paper towels and a .45 jag to clean the tube.

I use a separate case feed tube just for lubed cases.

I use a mix of Crud Cutter and warm water.  The plate I just take out a wash in the sink with Crud Cutter.

Yes, using Dillon case lube. I don't really clean it, either, and it does not seem to matter.

I just wipe mine down after with some 91% rubbing alcohol and paper towel. Also run a "patch"  down the tube.

+1 always lube pistol and rifle cases, haven't cleaned the hopper or tube after thousands of rounds...

I spray them outside of the feeder. Then when done loading I wipe it all down with simple green.

Me too, I use it on my 38 Super Comp and 223 is makes everything run a bit smoother. No build up even after 1000s of rounds.
