I shot 100 rds of hot ammo with a 22 lb ISMI spring.  No FTEs.

I will try another 300 rounds of hot ammo with the 22 lbs spring.  If not FTE's I will consider the problem solved.

Glad it worked for  you.

OK!  Yes, a heavier recoil spring will help to alleviate this problem; but it will not stop it from occasionally reoccurring.  The problem is being caused by the fact that the slide is moving faster (and, consequently, out of sync) with a slower magazine spring.  (Hence, the hotter the ammo the more likely this problem is to occur.)  In addition to using a heavier recoil spring I, also, suggest you change out your magazine springs to Wolff Gunsprings', +10%, 'extra power', magazine springs.

How does it normally eject and extract?

If it's like the Gen4 9mm pistols the Extractor was the issue.

I'm looking at picking up a 10mm Glock within a week or two and was wondering if Apex Tactical makes a Failure Resistant Extractor for it.

My Gen4 Model 20 was spitting brass into my eyes last session. It's HAULIN' ASS, too!! [emoji102]

There has to be a solution...
