Descartian
Im looking to do a double undercut on one of my polymer STI grips. Anyone have any great pointers, tips or tricks to the process? what grits are you starting with and then ending with as a final sanding? Im also looking to sand down my grips before adding silica carbide. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Descartian
What processes are you using? Hand files and sanding by hand? Belt or random orbital sanding? Dremmel or sanding dowel in drill press?

CHA-LEE
Just an FYI...... undercutting the trigger guard on a plastic grip dramatically reduces the overall strength of the grip causing it to delaminate from the steel inserts inside and ultimately failing prematurely. The structure of the trigger guard along with the front mounting screws help minimize the overall flexing stress placed on the primary grip panel screws.
