Honkeymcgee
Can anyone tell me if the 1911 barrel alignment block from Brownells has a slot in each side or just one.? Every video I've seen of someone using it, I see two slots(one tighter than the other) but the pictures and directions make it seem like it just has one. I have found a ptg block that has two but I am trying to place most of my order from one place.

ACree
Honkeymcgee, Do you have access to a milling machine? If so, I have made my own blocks to match the barrel and slide I was working with to make sure it was properly fit.

Yes I do and I also plan to purchase a mini mill eventually but I already ordered the Brownells block. We will see how it fits
