Wolfe 1911 firing pin spring?

You know, the one you get with each recoil spring, are they the same?

Or does the 8lb recoil spring pack have a different firing spring pin than say a 9 or 10 lb?

i have a few and they seem to be the same.  wish the would keep them seperate and lower the price

Putting together my spare parts kit and if they are the same, then I can put them all together. Going to color code the recoil springs so I can tell them apart.

All the same. All are "extra power" firing pin springs.

Oh, I thought they were regular power. The description doesn't say they are extra power. That could explain an occasional light strike.

Especially with lighter mainsprings.

Or maybe the spring is too long and binds up in the firing pin hole causing light strikes.

Thanks, I cleaned it and replaced the spring. Also checked and there is no binding. So far at 200 rounds with no re-occurrence.

Just put the new firing pin spring in at the same time you replace the recoil spring.
