I use a blade tech DOH in production. Predates the stingray. Good holsters

How old? I have one from 08 and the stingray IS the same as DOH. Just has a bracket on it. Bracket on = DOH, Bracket off - Stingray

I have a DOH for 1911s that has the belt loop molded from the same sheet of Kydex as the holster body. It's how Bladetech used to make their holsters before the stingray belt loop. I think quality was better in the older holsters, more attention to craftsmanship and detail. But it wasn't SS legal, & no way to easily make it so, so it's in a box. I think the SRBL came out in the early-mid 2000s.

Sounds like a Great Gun to get started with .... go have an absolute ball with it -    :)

After a few months, you might decided to get a different gun for USPSA -- it's

a super gun, but will NOT be truly competitive in any Division, unfortunately.

BUT, a Lot Of Fun to shoot, I bet    :)

I was thinking a EAA Witness limited .40 .....they seem good to go out of the box.

2006.  Maybe mistaken on predating Stingray.  Don't recall that model at that time, but 11 years is a long time to remember the details.  Just know it is as good a hostler as there is for production.
