Sar also had a poly frame version of the limited.  but EAA no longer is the importer of Sar guns. UTAS has taken over that. They have a LOT of cz / tanfo based guns that look interesting.

  • 4 weeks later...

There are two models of the new Poly Match gun.

The P-Match which is DA/DA has a rail like the Stock 3   then the P-Match Pro with is SA with no rail but comes with a magwell.
Supposedly the grips can be interchanged with each other so you can go with magwell or without.

Which of the two models is everyone wanting?

Please tell more SoCalShooter69
After waiting for over a year for this thing to get here.....I pretty sure most of us would like to know more before forking out hard earned dough.

I see no easily removable hammer pin. I think I see where this is going...

How much extra work is involved in each teardown, @SoCalShooter69?

The tear down isn't bad, it's going back in. The hammer/strut, etc. assembly come out in one piece; kind of like a Lego block of parts. Trying to reinstall that Lego block of parts, with a roll pin, is nearly impossible. The alignment is really wierd.

I did it on a pair of tanfo Force 9mm for a local guy. If he wasn't a good friend, I'd have drove past his house, dropped down to 35mph, and chucked them on his front lawn... in pieces.

I refuse to work on them now. Any gunsmith would be smart to charge a double hourly rate when R&R the hammer group.

You get what you pay for, though... I'm guessing around the high 5 or low 6 at retail. Haven't gotten that far yet. I wouldn't own one for free.

Did some research today ....
Both the P-Match (SoCalShooter69 posted a picture of this model) and the P-Match Pro are going to be available.

The basic breakdown between the two of them:

P-Match - DA/SA Trigger - Has a Rail - Does Not have a Magwell
P-Match Pro - SA Trigger - No Rail - Has a Magwell

I confirmed from EAA that the grips (with and without the magwell) are interchangeable between the two models.
However EAA does not have the grips in stock yet.

I have a P Match Pro on the way. Anybody know the height of the front sight ? Want to order an F/O.

Not a clue,  you are the first one to admit having or getting one (so far).

Maybe I'll get lucky and a Lim Pro site will work
