twister Posted July 24, 2017 Share Posted July 24, 2017 I have a problem with the latest 45 Range Officer I bought. The 5th round will not eject from the gun, and the next round is half way out of the magazine. I've tried several different magazines (Wilson, Tripp, Dan Wesson) and have the same problem with all of them. I'm using a reload that I use in all my other 45's with no problems. Ken6PPC Posted July 24, 2017 Share Posted July 24, 2017 It needs the RIGHT amount of tension. Take your slide off, and insert a fired case underneath the extractor. Shake lightly. If it falls out, you need more tension, if it won't come out at all, you need less.
