I loaded all my mags to six rounds based on an assumption. But did I mess up? The more I learn it seems the more I realize how little I know. Assuming you're talking about the IDPA classifier, you are allowed to load the rest of your mags to division capacity. However, the entire classifier is Limited scoring, meaning that you get a procedural for taking extra shots. I would still load to division capacity and carry both my extra magazines in case I have a malfunction of some sort. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I must have loaded one of my mags to 5 rounds...I did have another mag, but imagine my newbie dumbfounded look for about a second... When the time came for the "6, slidelock load, 6" strings, I'd eject the mag in the gun and strip it down to 5 rounds on the spot. Then there's no question you're at 6. Not 5. And not 8... af220wa Posted July 27, 2017 Share Posted July 27, 2017 Yes, download to start and depending on who is running the classifier they may allow full mags above division capacity to expedite the classifier.
