DementedAntics
Looking for options to mount my new RMR 06 via dovetail mount. I want to get the slide milled eventually if the optic is something I really enjoy shooting with. So for he meantime what dovetail mounts do you guys have experience with? Came across the following duek defense alternatives ($120): Outer impact: https://www.amazon.com/Outerimpact-Adapter-Mount-Wesson-Pistol/dp/B01N4K5XWH/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_200_tr_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=768T44G46MQJSFWJ9EZX Speed shooter specialties https://speedshooterspecialties.com/store/?main_page=product_info&cPath=78_202&products_id=1148 and trijicon makes there own for 86$. ramnj
I tried the dovetail mounted red dot on my M&P9FS before committing to getting my slide milled for an RMR. For me it worked out. My vision is not the same and the red dot was just what the doctor ordered. I ordered one from Amazon for the FF3, but wound up getting my M&P milled for RMR. The company that milled mine re-milled the rear dovetail to accept a Glock rear sight because there was no way to fit a stock rear sight. I wound up getting suppressor sights from Dawson Precision to make them work as co-witness. With FF3 Adapter:Milled for RMR:
DementedAntics
Who did your slide and grip work?
ramnj
The slide was milled by Jagerwerks and the stippling was done by Damato Custom Stippling. Excellent workmanship by both companies.

ramnj
Thanks. Turn around time is about four weeks for both.
DementedAntics
4 weeks to have both done or 8 weeks to have both done combined.
ramnj
Didn't send them out at the same time but the slide milling was more like 2-3 weeks. The stippling was right at four weeks. If you send them out at the same time you should have them back within a month. Contact them and check pictures of their work on Instagram before making your decision. That's what I did and worked out great. https://www.damatocustomstippling.com http://jagerwerks.com/m-p-trijcon-rmr/
DementedAntics
I loooed at their pricing and $125 is misleading bc they media blast your slide and you have to get it cerakoated. Are they not able to cut the rmr slot without needing to get a cerakote? True price is double at 250$ all said and done.

DementedAntics
I'll do that and see what the consensus is. I will have my optic dovetail mount in tommorow. So it's time to test it out and see if it will end up being a permanent thing!
