StuckinMS
I use the Redding cx carbide push through die. It works better than the bulge buster. I use lee carbide dies in my press and yes some sti barrels and kkm barrels don't like 401 or 402 bullets. You can either throat ream or just buy bullets that are 400. Just get your crimp right and load to a length that your gun will feed reliably. FP will obviously load to different lengths as swc and so forth coated bullets, copper jackets, lead casts will all likely be different shapes. Buy the sample packs most companies offer and experiment. Good shooting
MikieM
Things are working fine now. The crimp is tight, no doubt about it, at .420 to .421, but since I've started using nickle plated cases there have been no problems. Thank you all for the good advice. My personal opinion on tight chambers is that they tend to enhance accuracy, once you get things going in the right direction.
