Call either Dawson or Brazos and see if either have an Eagle in .45.

Definitely not the most popular caliber of Eagle. Too bad the Tac series is bull barrel or that would be a good choice as well.

Thanks. I have a friend who was 1st place cdp expert at nationals and he offered me his G41 that he won with. Might take that just for the good luck in it. hahahaha

If you don't win, we know it wasn't the gun right? ;)

But since STI D/C'd the Eagle, the Hex would be the next choice. I was able to quickly find several websites with a Hex double stack in .45.

Well my STI Trojan in .45 should be here in a week from Dawson. It was in stock but they're doing their competition ready package to it as well. Bunch of 8rnd mags from Wilson arrived today.

Now to just shoot a current cdp classifier...... I haven't shot CDP in like 3 years.....

Awesome!

You get 47D's or 500's?

Something about 1911's!  Live them!

Hope to see you shoot it. I'm gonna send my stuff off for Nats tomorrow.

They're good. The 500's have a slightly longer tube so loading 8 and inserting on a closed slide is easier with them.

Brownells has them on sale for $26 plus free shipping on orders over $49.
