rootacres
What's everyone's preferred airline approved hardcase for pistols. I want to start doing some traveling matches and need a hardcase. It'll be for a Tanfoglio Stock 2. Thanks
pixel5
I would also be interested in this. Something that has a slim form factor may be ideal so it will work inside a medium suitcase with clothes and misc.
SlvrDragon50
If you don't mind carrying everything else separately, Nanovaults work fine. Otherwise a Pelican.
ima45dv8
I have two of these and can sometimes fir two pistols in each case. Add a decent padlock, a bicycle cable lock to secure to the luggage frame and it's a good solution. Inexpensive and takes up minimal room in my suitcase. http://www.planomolding.com/hunting/hard-gun-cases/large-frame-pistol-hard-case
Aggieddad02
Get in touch with Brack Wilson at Patriot Cases. Brack can cut the inside for a particular gun and the quality is top notch. Edited May 22, 2017 by Aggieddad02
Hupperware
I use Competitive Edge's case. Been good for a bunch of flights.
BeerBaron
I have a few but for one pistol I actually like the double alpha slim case. it's super small and fits nicely into your suitcase. https://www.doublealpha.biz/daa-thin-pistol-case?osCsid=3c0e5287de6a37bf183353ab0b7f4fc2 I can even fit my open 2011 in there (tight fit) and you could probably get 2 production guns in it. being small it doesn't have much protection/padding so it's only useful as an 'inside the suitcase' hard case. the suitcase will cushion it anyway so I hate big bulky ones.
