ams30gts
I got this from somebody a few years ago, just made a couple more so thought I would post it. Parts from Home Depot 1x DURA 1 in. Schedule 40 PVC Male Adapter $0.70 1x Mueller Global 1 in. x 5 in. Black Steel Nipple $2.39 1x 1 in. Black Malleable Iron Threaded Floor Flange $6.84 If you run the ratchet system you may need to get a longer pipe. This one is only 5" and fits mine perfect. Screw them down to a piece of wood or work bench then done.
DWFAN
Nicely done. I've been on my google machine looking, but nothing was as clear as this. Thanks! PS - What caliber to you run a collet die on after trimming? Blackout?

Steve RA
Might have to modify a little if the center hole is different.

Just go to HD and play around with different parts.

RippinSVT
I did this today **cough...at work**. I just grabbed a 5" long threaded 1" pipe, screwed that into a 1-1.5" reducer bushing, and then the bushing into a 1.5" female union. I wrapped the threads with one wrap of black electrical tape. It's very stable (although you can't easily permanently fix to bench). Now I can slide the spare shell plate onto the 1" pipe and it rests on the little 1.5" shelf. The toolhead will slide onto the threaded portion of the pipe but won't pass that. I just taped it to make it look cleaner.

fbzero
I know this is old, but I just made one of these last night and it's a much better solution than paying $50 for a stand. Just wanted to say thanks!
