v1911
Since 9mm 105mm STI mags don't exist, I'm looking for a reference towards someone who take take my 120mm mags and properly cut them down to 105mm. Looking to make a CCP legal 2011 and to do that, I need shorter mags. Will also be having to trim a grip but the major hurdle is getting the mags shortened. racknrider
Curious to see your results. I'm guessing you have to relocate the msh; how will that affect the internals?
v1911
You can cut into the grip and leave the MSH part unmolested. So the mag looks countersunk when you're done.
v1911
Scouring the net I found a smith that did mag length reduction on a custom 2011. Anyone familiar with a smith by the name of Tim Calhoun?

Descartian
Sorry, I missed this post somehow. If you're looking for the unobtanium 105mm 9mm magazine, I might be able to sell you one. I was just about to put one on GunBroker.

Descartian
So funny story. I I looked at the most recent Total Eclipse in 40 I bought and the slide is marked just Eclipse like yours.
CHA-LEE
If all you want to do is chop a mag tube in half then shorten it a competent TIG Welder could do that. Find a local metal fabrication shop and see if they can or want to tackle the chop/weld job.
