Marshal82
Any tried one or shot one? How was it compared to a 35 or 24. I'm thinking of building one, I have a weight to use and would plan for a heavy magwell. My concern is how well does the block stay on the barrel and recoil impulse. dogtired
The block is first rate, no issues. Edited January 23, 2017 by dogtired
Trebor Snave
I built one last fall on a police turn-in 22; haven't had a chance to compete with it yet but recoil isn't bad. I don't have any weights on mine. The block is threaded onto the barrel with a dab of loc-tite, and then a set screw comes in from underneath. More loc-tite there. Kind of doubt it's going to move. Marshal82
Does the set screw go into the threads or behind the threads onto the barrel? Thinking about picking up a police trade in 22 for cheap and building one.
dogtired
The barrel has a little flat the set screw contacts (iirc).
NWfront
For those who have run this setup for while now. Any issues with the block or sight coming loose?
dogtired
None. But mine is largely a safe toy.

dogtired
I had mine milled since earlier photo. Still a safe toy but runs well, accurate, fun.
JLB-US
I recently picked up a police trade in Glock 35, mainly just because it was $330 and I thought would be good to keep around should I ever dip my foot back into limited. i noticed they say they can cut the sight block to fit a 35. Wonder if the shorter length increase would even be worthwhile though?
dogtired
It ends up adding about an inch. The sight block works pretty well overall. Same barrel as above gun, just shorter block. Edited December 9, 2017 by dogtired
