GunBugBit
I would think there would be some forum members who have wanted to use McCormick 10-round .45 ACP magazines with the Dawson Precision Ice No Gap mag well inserts. If you've tried that, you know some material has to be removed from the base pads to make them work. I'm wondering if anyone would like to share thoughts on what they did to make those magazines compatible with the No Gap inserts. It seems to me you would just want to make the whole top of the base pad one height, with a bevel in front that matches the bevel already on the sides of the base pads. RiggerJJ
Just get the gap insert. Its the easiest and cheapest way to convert, and you will not have a over-insertion problem. I've been using one for years and it works fine with the CM 10 rounders. jmho jj
GunBugBit
I already have the gap inserts. Want to run with no gap.

GunBugBit
I'll answer and discuss if you've tried both. Have you?
GunBugBit
Anyway, I worked it out and have a good way to trim the CMC 10-round .45 magazines. Once trimmed, they'll work with either gap or no-gap Ice mag well inserts.
