My oldest(13) son wanted to get in the game so I I got him the parts to put a lower together for Christmas and taught him how to put it together. Still need to pick up an ambi bolt-catch, magwell and change one of the safety levers. For the moment he is using my original PCC upper, but we have plans to build his own. Well I did install the feedramp in my main PSA 9mm, but that was after over 10,000 trouble free rounds. And I only had problems with one magazine. The other dozen or so mags still fed 100%. If you have a registered lower that you want to use, then the magwell adapter is the way to go. But if not, the price of the high quality adapter is almost as much as a dedicated 9mm lower. Then you will have two complete guns instead of 1-1/2. A fellow shooter was at the range today with one of the new PSA Gen 3 lowers. A friend of mine locally who is an artist and had just got into shooting last year. I had built this frankengun and let him just do whatever he wanted. I just said I like star wars haha. Google has some awesome fett guns and hes was inspired from there. This is all duracoat but he has since graduated to a cerakote setup etc. He has mainly just done a few of his guns but he has a knack for it.
