What powders do you use for 9mm reloads?

I'm trying to scrounge around for whatever powder is available in stock. So far I've been lucky in getting some Accurate #7 for my loads.

What other powders do you use? (P.S. I use gunbot.net to find in stock stores).

I use 3.2 Clays with a 130gr LSWC.

Everyone is going to have their own opinion about what is best. Once they find a powder/load they like, they try to stick with it. In my case since I like Vihtavuori and it is hard to get at times, I start to worry about getting low and will reorder whenever I get down to 4lbs.

For 9mm I would stick with a fast/clean burning powder. If I would ever run out or couldn't get any VV I would try Clays or Titegroup

Titegroup, wst, win 231, those are the ones that I try to stick with.

Titegroup with jacketed or plated, 231 for lead. I haven't tried Solo 1000 or American Select, but they might work well too.

Titegroup and it seemed to be one of the easier powders to find during the shortage.

I've used VV320, W231, HP38, Autocomp, Universal, and HS-6. All of those with Rainier plated 9mm RN 115 & 124 gr. bullets. They all work just fine.

For minor power factor pretty much any fast burning powder will work just fine. I'm currently using 700X because I got a 12 pound keg for free. Used Bullseye before that.

Currently using WST with 147gr cast FPs.

I have used Red Dot with 125gr LRNs and plated 115s. With the 125s at 135 PF, it feels a little sharp, like a firecracker going off. It also will not run a G34 very well unless it is very lightly sprung. As it does not meter too well, I will not be buying any more Red Dot if I can avoid it.

I was using Auto comp for a minor load but it ended up being REALLY dirty. I switched to Clays and its incredibly clean.

N340, though it will kick a bit more. Solo 1000. Universal Clays is a good all around powder and works well for me with my practice moly 147's, but, with Hodgdon's production problems, it isn't too available either.

I´ve heard a lot god stuff about Clays, but never used it.

So I would recommend, reduced to one powder, VV N320.

But I will look forward to get my hands on Clays too.

Been using Clays for 9 minor loads. Also fun for .45. Very soft and very clean. Just a pain to get anymore right now.

I use HP-38/Win 231. It's the cheapest I've been able to find and it's reliable, and not overly dirty. I'm quite happy with it.
