Flatland Shooter
Its not bad. Would like to see a little more shooting and less socializing. Nice to see elimination is based on performance instead of personalities. Bill
bigfish
It was alright. Don't really see myself getting addicted to it. I know tons of people that like guns but aren't really shooters that love the show. Seems like when people find out that I shoot competition many of them just want to talk about Top Shot. Maybe some of these people will get motivated by the show and get involved with a shooting sport! Edited May 30, 2013 by bigfish
sperman
I think this season is a huge improvement over the past. It is now a shooting competition, instead of a bunch of Real World style drama involving shooters.
Steve RA
Agree with the above, should be better this season.
dane
I really enjoyed it, much prefer the new format for the eliminations. Good to see some of the people back for a second chance at it.
Graham Smith
It looks like the producers took some input from the shooters and the public and did away with all the Survivor Reality Show garbage. We'll just have to see how much footage from the house ends up on screen or if they are going to keep the cameras on the range where they belong. Not particularly broken up by the first loss. RammerJammer
The first elimination ensured I will watch it. I don't think I could watch anymore of his rediculousness. No matter what goes on the slow motion footage makes it worth watching to me.

monicataliani
I have to agree with all of you.... I am glad that this season is performance based.
GuildSF4
That would be a nice change. I don't mind some personality however some of the arrogant a...s were ridiculous.
bigdawgbeav
Blake in the first season was the most annoying. Kept bringing up that he's a Grand Master and all this other stuff is beneath him I was glad to see it's all about performance and this should cut down on the dumb drama. Still not sure why Kelly Bachlund has that tape over his shooting glasses though. Edited May 30, 2013 by sperman Please be respectful

sperman
Not particularly broken up by the first loss. I agree. I didn't like him the first time around, and was glad to see him go early.
GregSmith
Not particularly broken up by the first loss. Not sure how I feel about the first loss. Wasn't the biggest fan of his personality, but I tell ya, that guy pulled it out over and over again in elimination matches on Season 4. Can't believe how much Bass Pro Shops money that guy has. Sad day that he's now lost twice in a row using his the gun he's a specialist with...
RammerJammer
I think it is already showing that the talent level in season 4 was way below all previous seasons. That might have had something to do with his survival. Also, in all my years in the military I have never hear of a master grenadier. Neither has anyone in the Air Farce I have talked to. In the Army, there is a bar for a marksmanship medal for grenades, but that's about the only thing I know of in the US military. I rather suspect that they pump up some of the achievements for some of the people. You can be a Master Grenadier in Tomb Raider.

Still not sure why Kelly Bachlund has that tape over his shooting glasses though. The tape is a trick to helping with both eyes open shooting . Or if you want the effect of one eye shooting with having to scrunch up your face while doing it. Some rifle shooters think it relieves tension in your face muscles as well thus taking out very minute muscle movements.
BillChunn
Didn't even realize it was going to be on. I guess that shows how I felt after the other seasons ^^^^ THIS! I've got better things to do with my time... like reloading and dry fire. BC
wlktheduk
I "really" enjoyed seeing the moving platform that they used while firing the FN-FAL rifle. It brought back flashbacks of a certain "Shakey Bridge" frequently found in Ohio....
ClutchUSMC
I've shot with Greg a few times at 3gun matches since his first appearance on the show. I think that TV and Editing play into how the shooters on the show are portrayed. Just watching the first season I would have agreed with you guys but getting to know him he's a standup guy. I was hoping to see him do better this time around.
StraightUp_OG
Our host Mr. Enos used to use tape on one eye as far back as I can remember ('85) he was the first one I had see do that. So being the impressionable kid I was I tried it and found that it worked quite well but since the advent of the dot I have long since stopped using the tape. EEH
Why is it when they have one of thier comp.the shooter with the fastest time gets nothing ( I know he stays on the show ) the bottom two go to a shoot off and the winner get's a $ 2000.00 Bass Pro gift card ..?? He was the guy that kept saying he was an IPSC GM and every time he messed up a challenge he blamed the gun because he shoots a Glock.
