biscuit
I am relatively new to the sport (20 months) as the AL sectional a year ago was my first major and I was able to shoot 5 other majors last year. I was wonder what is good prep for a large major match. I am shooting 3 matches a month right now, dry fire 4xs wk 15-30 min. per session and 2 live fire session a wk of about 200-250 rds per session. I'm using Ben's books right now for dry and live fire practice. Also would it be better to shoot a match the week before the Al Sectional or to practice aspects of the stages posted. I would have to travel about 3 hours to find a good USPSA match. Thank you for your wisdom in this matter.

Sparky
Biscuit what you're doing is great. I will be shooting my first Alabama Sectional this year. I may get the prize for driving the most miles. Been shooting this great sport of ours since 1979. My best advise is to relax and have fun.
