Leupold Ballistic Firedot: What are the Reticle Specs?

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

I just go a 2-7 VXR with the ballistic reticle. I can't find the measurements for the reticle in either the manual or their website. I sent them an email and I haven't gotten a response.

Maybe some of you guys know?

Was testing some of these scopes and had Leupold tech send me a pdf

if you want the whole thing (covers all of their ballistic reticles) shoot me an email:

Thanks for the offer. I think that's the same one that they already have on their website. Unfortunately that's not the reticle that's on the VXR.

Leupold has got in touch with me. They gave me most of the specs that I wanted except for the elevation of where the reticle changes to a thicker line.

For those that are interested, they gave me:

On 7x it is:

bottom of circle: 2.19 moa

1st hash mark : 4.8 MOA

2nd hash mark : 7.82 MOA

Thin to Thick Shelf : _______ <=== missing data

hmm,

the guy told me to use that data

the ballistic plex firedot (3-9x50) went to a good friend of mine, so I don't have it in front of me.

I hate getting conflicting information
