  1. This looks like a pretty good method: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=136097&view=findpost&p=1531450
  2. Thanks for your reply Foxbat. That was the direction I was leaning. I was surprised to see that c-more recommended red for the sight mounting screws. I felt that it would be difficult if I ever had to remove the sight from the mount at a later date. My mount to frame screws have red loctite on them.
  3. While shooting a match yesterday I went to make ready, turned on my c-more and discovered that both of my mounting screws were loose. This was my 5th stage and I did not notice anything was loose on my previous stages. Now I feel that I should remove the sight, clean and dry the screws and mounting holes and remount the sight. The c-more instructions say to use red loctite on the mounting screws, but I am wondering if red loctite is too strong or permanent and blue might be a better choice. Maybe red is what I should use to prevent this from happening in the future. Your thoughts please.
  4. CCI is my brand of choice. They are all I ever run. If you were close to me I would trade you 5k Winchester for 5k of your CCI's.
  5. Which Dawson basepad are you running, is it an SNL? My STI mags gauge with a Dawson +1 non-SNL.
  6. I believe it does matter. We went through the same thing when the G17 RTF2 frames came out.
  7. I guess it's a good thing zach lives in California, I'm sure he can just get his state to ban fat people for his convenience.
  8. Online squadding shows 9 squads shooting today (Friday the 30th). Full squads except for one slot on squad 4.
  9. Wouldn't they want to have the latest classifications posted before the start of Nationals?
  10. Can't you default your device and enter a new password into it? Or are there other settings that would be wiped out that you don't know how to re-establish?
  11. Here is an installation manual for the AutoPilot that shows how it is connected since it's hard to tell from the picture on the Griffin website. http://www.griffintechnology.com/manuals/0000/0051/AutoPilotWWI_TS.pdf
  12. Look into the Griffin AutoPilot. I have three of them for use in my Accord and on two of my motorcycles. It enables you to charge and control your iPhone/iPod and only has one connection to the device via the 30 pin connector. I love them.
  13. Well I ended up returning my Kodak Zx5. I had some issues with the video at the last two matches I took it to. One video out of several at each match would playback like it was being fast forwarded (2x speed) while the sound was recorded at normal speed and was out of time with the video images. I wanted to talk with Kodak about it and try to work through the issue, but I was just days over the 15 day return period and got in a big hurry to get my money back before I got stuck with a problem camcorder. Online reviews don't rate Kodak's customer support very high anyway.
  14. I can't answer your question about additives to corn cob, but I put some Turtle Wax chrome polish and a splash of mineral spirits in my walnut media.
  15. I have always had very good results with Canon cameras so I am just a little biased towards them.
  16. ATF = Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. ATF fluid helps lubricate any possible interaction you may have with said agency. I'll probably get audited again now. Seriously, ATF has a very desireable additive package that includes: Gasket conditioners, detergents, anti-corrosion compounds, dispersants, anti-wear additives, low temp flow enhancers, high temp thickeners, and surfactants. It is basically a cocktail of a lot of things we want. One "popular" brand of gun oil tests out as ATF on the gas chromatagraph. I spent 3 years working in an oil analysis lab and played with all kinds of oils, lubes etc. Full access to a GC and an ICAP was pretty insightful. What is the recommended ratio of (synthetic?) ATF to Mobil 1 and will they stay mixed in a bottle or do the separate?
  17. Is it the ArcSoft Media Impressions software that you are concerned about using on your Mac? You can just drag and drop the movies from the PlaySport to your Mac and it is my understanding that the Mac has a pretty good movie maker built in (iMovie?). Is that not the case? My new PlaySport ZX5 outputs in MPEG-4 format and the default player is Quicktime.
  18. What caliber are you loading this in, 38 Super/SC?
  19. Unfortunately I won't be at the match on Sunday, Seth. I would love to see what you have done with the place.
  20. I guess the landscaping isn't finished yet either. There are no trees at Fredericksburg
