Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Maybe the MD should call them 'yard mines'. If you step on one you must drag that foot for the remainder of the stage to simulate trying to scrape the dogshit off your shoe. Tell me scraping a yard mine off you shoe is not practical, and something you have never done.
  2. ...........or, you could just use more powder.
  3. Are you talking about that area at the end of the primer slide with the radius, next to the main ram? My 550 is 11yrs old and is like that.
  4. I've heard it twice. First time, the shooter swept everyone uprange while unslinging his rifle. This was some outlaw 3g match. Everyone said 'big boy rules' so it's all OK. Next time I heard the term was 3GNation. A competitor sent one down range at unload & show clear. No DQ because big boy rules 3GNation (& television). I voted option 3 - no one got shot.
  5. Eliminating rules of this nature would go a long way in reducing the size of the rule book.
  6. In other words....15 rounds isn't silly - the current trend of USPSA 8 round arrays is silly.
  7. It's a 'Get on with it' stick. After checking the chamber 3 times at LAMR, she pokes you in the back of the head and says.....
  8. I have pretty much the same thing. 3yr old Stag 3G. 1-6 scope, Benny-Cooley comp, offset iron sights, and a Luth-AR stock from a prize table.
  9. I have a VooDoo Tactical 46" padded case. I think it was ~$100.

    SP01 CO ordered

Hope this is not too late to stop you. I have a FF3 on mu P-09 and it is now on my Turkey. I hated the shape of the lens, the dust cover the automatic setting. Just be warned that if you have it in auto mode it will turn off 80 % of the time after the second or third stage. I just installed a doctor sight and have fired 300 rounds through it. it is freakin awesome. I was ready to scrap the whole idea of CO but with this sight I feel I can start to get better instead of worrying about equipment issues. My .02, My wife and I have been using Doctor sights for about 18 months, they are great. Hard to believe it is not the GO -TO dot for CO Not hard to believe at all. You can buy 2 FF3's for the price of 1 Docter.
  11. I'm confused. You mean you run all your cases through once just to size and deprime, and then you run them all through again to prime, charge, seat, and crimp? It's a 550 (4 stations) not a 1050. Run through to size/deprime/trim Tumble (they were lubed for sizing) Swage on Super 600 Run through to prime/charge/seat/crimp. Guys with 650's do more or less the same.
  12. I put mine in Station #3 and removed the pin. I run a standard sizing/decapping die in Station #1. I use a casefeeder on my 550, ... my loading toolhead has Station #1 empty - just prime there.
  13. The rule book is clear as to what you can/can not do in any division. Who said a Shadow is not Prod legal?
  14. IPSC has already gone there.
  15. The WSB just needs to state that all mags start on the table and that all reloads must come from the table.
