I put mine in a 1 gallon ziploc bag, gIve them a 2 second spray of One Shot, close the bag, shake and dump into the case feeder. I've been using the same bag forever and have never cleaned the drop tube.

What type of mags and what type of finish do you expect to achieve? Stainless Steel mags will polish to a mirror finish with the right equipment and given enough time. Is that what your after?

Welcome from Northern IL! Up north there are several opportunities to shoot USPSA indoors over the winter. Look around you might find somewhere to shoot during the winter months.

I agree with recommendation of a Nightforce. I'm shooting a 5.5-22 x 50 with a NP-R2 reticle. Great scope.

I had mine done by Carmoney. Great work and quick turnaround. Do a search for carmonized.

I have a mental checklist that I use at make ready. I try to consciously go through the checklist every time i step up to the line. When I don't bad things are bound to happen.

I shoot open because I love gadgets and hate rules. That being said I occasionally shoot revolver. I've never tried any other divisions.
