Hello, I've read the timer thread. Can someone give a list of timers and price ranges? I'd love a $200 timer if they weren’t $200. I'm going to use it at the range, but would like something that can help me dry fire practice as well. Can you guys give examples of features that would make me want to pay 200 bucks?

I heard a shot that didn't sound like normal gunfire and looked over and saw the aftermath, then played CSI from there. I was in the booth next to him and they are clear plastic. The other story I heard was a close friend of mine that watched the same thing durring a match but he actually saw it happen.

I've heard one story like this, but then witnessed it recently. I'm kind of curious if this is a one in a million thing, or if other people have seen this. Guy next to me at the range is shooting with an open box of .40 on the table. Casing exits the pistol, bounces off the wall of the booth, off the ceiling, lands on the primer of one of the rounds in the box on the table. Round indents the table and comes to rest on the floor about a foot away. Styrofoam box gets blasted in half with pieces all over the table. Casing ruptures and fires straight up into the ceiling breaking through the plastic cover around the light and breaks the florescent bulb. Nobody was hurt, but wow was the look on his face priceless. I keep my ammo covered when I shoot now.

Thanks for all the help guys. #1 is my only major concern. The others are just a bonus. Now I just need to find a nice cheap Glock 17 Gen 1.

What I mean is. I would want to use Glock 17 mags in the G19. I would NOT put more then 10 rounds in them. I assume I was understood and the answer is still no. Thanks, -Mathew

Hello and thanks for looking. I'm interested in doing some of the following things to my Glock and I want to make sure they are legal for production before I do them. 1. Can I add a extended mag release to a G19 or G17? 2. Can I add an extended slide lock to a G19 or G17? 3. Can I modify my trigger at all? Can I drop in a trigger setup like the one from http://www.triggerkit.com? 4. Can I use 17 round magazines while shooitng a G19? 5. I know I can add grip tape to my frame, is there any limit to how much I can layer? Say if I wanted to add 3 or 4 layers to the bottom to force my hand up on the grip? 6.
