Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Last week I ordered online Sunday, delivered Friday. 40/10mm no dies.
  2. Ordered on Tuesday, delivered on Wednesday. Came from the local Grainer distribution center. Not bad for Alaska.
  3. I've broken them all... Dillon, Lee, RCBS, Hornady, and Redding. I have skills!
  4. Old thread. As anyone tried to do 308 case prep on a RL1050. Size, deprime, swage, and trim? It would take some parts from the larger frame Super version to feed the cases. It looks like it could work.
  5. Hoping for a .204 Ruger conversion. Need to load 3k rounds for prairie poodles. Ever try to spin a 32 grain pill around in your fingers without dropping a few? What a pain.
  6. Here's the deal. I have an old RL-1050 that I'm using to load 55 gr 223 ammo. I want to use the Redding Competition Seating Die. I asked Dillon if that combo would work and the response was "I don't see any reason why not". Ok, so I order the die. Upon setting up the die, I can't seem to get the die body high enough and the seater low enough to seat the bullet deep enough. The top of the bullet catches on the bottom of the die and there is very little room for my fat fingers to set the tiny little bullet in place. So my question is : Does anyone use a RL-1050 (not the bigger Super 1050) to load 223 with the Redding Comp Seater?
  7. I am considering purchasing a KISS Bullet Feeder for 223, 308, and 45ACP. I asked Roger the question: Can I use cast lead bullets in the KISS feeder? His response: "Thank you for your interest in our bulletfeeder. We do not recommend using cast lead bullets with lube in our bulletfeeder, moly-coated, plated and jacketed bullets work just fine." Although it is not recommended, have any of you done it? Does it work? Is it a matter of the bullet lube gumming up the die?
