Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I use two blade techs from brownells and the leg rig from 3 gun gear. That way I have four mags on me. The T-Rig from three gun gear and the blade techs are very easy to take off and put on for those stages where they are not needed without taking your belt off.
  2. Hope this helps. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...st&p=781856 Darren
  3. Remington Gun Club 2.75 dram (1145 fps), 1 1/8 oz #7.50 or #8.00 shot. I shot this stuff from day one out of my new M2. I buy 5 to 10 cases when they go on sale between $3.00 to $4.00 a box per case. But, if i was worried about breaking in your M2 at the match, they sell 3.00 dram (1200fps) as well. Darren
  4. I put the spacer opposite the side of the shell brass end and placed the velcro tab in the middle (half of the length) of the side wall so the spacer toggles keeping the two or three remaining shells from falling out when running. Even the top shell when the carrier is full does not fall out when going prone. Here is a post with pictures of my calif comp tac strippers. 5. I use 3gungear's side saddle that holds eight with his two pack forward of the ejection port. It uses velcro. Had no problems with my M1 or M2. Darren
  6. 2 3/4 dram (light load) #7 1/2 or #8 shot 12 Gauge Remington Gun Club Target Load, 2-3/4", #7.5 Lead Shot, 1-1/8 oz., 1145 fps Remington Slugger Managed-Recoil Ammunition 12 Gauge 2-3/4" 1 oz Functions great in my M2. Darren
  7. sSlav.......Semi......you know you want one!!!!! You do kick A** with that pump though. JPT do yourself a favor. Get a barrel that accepts chokes. If you don't, you will wish you had. Beware....3gun is highly addictive. Be safe, Darren

  9. I think we should make sure that we know who that person is before we troll the classifier DB for every one who DQ'ed. I don't know for a fact who the person is and I wouldn't want to point finger at the wrong person. If the name that was given to me is correct, then their classification doesn't exhibit an entry like the one you mention, so one us must be wrong +1.....This is to serious to get wrong. Be careful when pointing figures.
  10. Use what you already have if you are not sure you will enjoy 3gun. Or borrow a friends sg. I would have no problem lending my sg for a match that I'm shooting to someone in your situation. Otherwise, chokes (a little choke IC or light MOD will make a huge difference) & a tube that will hold 8 shells definitely. That was the easy part. Which sg, that depends on who you ask. Do a search and you will find a wealth of information on this site. Why limit only to 3gun? A sg properly setup for 3 gun will serve you well in most if not all situations and all types of matches. It's not like you will need multiple sg's to play. I use mine for 3gun, ipsc, knockdown steel, etc. Spend the money once instead of buying something you will likely change within a year. Buy once, cry once! A properly setup sg for 3 gun will be great for home defense or can be easily sold if you don't like the sport. I personally prefer the M2 or M1. It's nice to shoot a match like NC recon or CTI and only have to clean the chrome lined barrel which takes two minutes with a bore brush hooked up to a drill. I like to keep the bore clean and check the choke for lead build up. Yes, enough lead may build up under the choke and cause it to deform. Just a friendly reminder for those that shoot slugs a lot and clean there M* annually. Just my two cents. I see too many people spend more money than if they just bought correctly the first time. There are many sg's to choose from and many opinions. Good luck. Darren
  11. Glad to hear the good reviews. I recorded it last night. Can't wait to watch it.
  12. Please post how you fixed the problem. Very curious.
  13. If the carrier moves freely up and down, then it's not the c-rums carrier. I used the carrier on both my M1 and M2. The 24 inch ribbed barrel is for the M2, but should work for both models. I would contact Benny Hill (Benelli Expert) since your short on time. Good Luck.
  14. I was CRO on that stage and i scored that target a miss. Walkthrough indicated one hole in the bird to score. I advised the shooter to appeal and called the RM. I'm glad he won. I meant no disrespect. All the RO's were super awesome and super nice including yourself. Please don't take the comments personally. I just mentioned it and provided the rule so that anyone else that comes across the same situation will know. Thank you for the advise to appeal and your personal time you gave up to allow others to enjoy an awesome match.
  15. I really enjoyed the match. Thanks to all that made it possible. Besides the rain delay, the match ran very smoothly. Being able to bring three guns to a match and use them in combination in a course of fire is a ton of fun. Some of the RO's deemed a broken clay as one pellet making a clear hole through the claybird. That's pretty difficult when it hits the edge chipping it where the clay is the thickest. The RM made the correct call when this happened. The system worked. USPSA Shotgun Competition Rules January 2008 Revised March 26, 2008 4.4 Frangible Targets 4.4.1 Frangible targets, such as clay pigeons or tiles, may be used in USPSA Shotgun matches. 4.4.1.1 Frangible targets must break with a visible piece missing or separated from the original target to be counted for score.
