Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Manny Bragg http://www.mannyusa.com/Firearms_Training/category/Airsoft_Guns.html
  2. Several time over the past few years, Not worth taking the chance and not having enough for the match. Number of rnds of 38 super in 11 pounds. DO THE MATH! about 195 grains per loaded bullet, 7000 grains per pound, then about 397 rnds for 11 pounds without the case.
  3. Some guns will run with both. Difference is in the extractor. Super should rim should ride on the extractor, Super comp/TJ extractor tip rides on the grove. The TJ brass has a slightly different groove dim and thicker web at the base then SC.
  4. Should be, location for production nationals was announced at the 2012 production nationals awards banquet, same for Open nationals in St. George, not sure on limited or limited 10. MDA
  5. I seem to remember RO'ing you at a local match a few years ago, when you were not shooting a glock, with a gun that did not have any front sight. Did not seem to really matter as you still out shoot almost everybody there. MDA
  6. aaahhhhh, in 8 years the next youngest GM. MDA
  7. Around 2010, Mag release hole is in a different location.
  8. Because; someone could use any firearm chambered in 9 mm, not designed or built to withstand the high pressure associated with 9mm Major, and blow it up. Has nothing to do with mag capacity. MDA
  9. See link below for some of the info you are looking for. Not really in depth and directed toward pistol, a lot will depend on what you are trying to achieve. Barrel twist info MDA
  10. You will find burn rate charts provided by most powder companies. However; most are slightly different and should be only used as a reference. Hodgdon chart Accurate powder Vithavuori MDA
  11. Yes, barrel heating up could cause lower velocity due to expansion\dilation of the bore. MDA
  12. Lol are you guys in So CA? If so there's only one place this could have happened We are in the southwest.... of Ohio. Ahhh TW. I get a chuckle every time I go there just to look around, It's kind of on the way home from a USPSA match. Some of the things I have overheard salesperson say just make me cringe. All I do to can to keep my mouth shut and walk away. MDA
  13. No problem. 11 lbs per person per bag. So two people traveling with two bags and 11 lbs in each bag, good to go. Technically, no she does not have to declare but it is better if you do so TSA is not surprised. I usually only declare the gun and only say I have 11 lbs of ammo if they ask. Never get the same treatment, some agents kind of freak out and want you to prove the gun is unloaded and weight the ammo. Others don't even break stride, accept you word and place the special tag in you baggage and off you go. Same with the bag screening TSA agent, some want to open the bag and inspect everything, other simply look up and see you waiting the just nod and off the bag goes. Some the worst are the small town air ports. You can always ship your ammo to the match. American Shooters Supply in Vegas has been a match sponsor in the past and has offered to receive ammo for competitors several weeks before the match. Watch for additional info on the Nationals website. MDA
