I believe this is the same rule that allows for swapping the entire FCU as well. I'm still not clear which rule applies to aftermarket triggers (PELT). But in general, it sounds like once the shape (flat or curved) is available OFM then it becomes damn near impossible to chase down all the aftermarket variations and they just throw up their hands. That's my overall impression of how the rules get applied. Though I'd like to hear a better explanation than this.

I too am fascinated with your trigger work. But I do question the wisdom of this... Aren't you concerned that removing one of the springs entirely will introduce lateral torque on the sear? I'm not sure if this would eventually cause uneven wear but, because I'm not sure, I would probably not do this. Grayguns solves this by using two reduced weight springs. This is the preferred method IMHO. But I welcome input from those who know more on the subject. Is my concern overstated?

Big shout out to Red Hill Tactical! I had a minor issue with my X5 holster order so I emailed them and explained the problem. They had it taken care of the very next day...including a refund for the change! Now I'm even more excited to try out their products. Thanks for the tip Alma.
