  1. Our local ranges are dropping 3gun for the most part due to attendance and no help with setup. People locally still enjoy it but with ammo costs still high for shotgun people are opting for 2 gun, USPSA, PRS, or NRL22.
  2. Rivets are the way to go if you have space in the grip for them. Are they not grandfathering mags?

    MBX in a CZ

I'm still waiting on them to make a 170mm mag for my shadow 2......
  4. Brass juice no pins in my FART then dry in my dehydrator or on a bed sheet in the yard depending on season.
  5. 6 moa razor on the open gun 5 moa SRO on the carry optics gun 6 moa DPP on my backup carry optics gun Easy to pick up in all lighting and can dim it down for overcast if I need to.
  6. I'm leery of the hole that will be left below the dovetail cut where it screws in.
  7. It works just fine, with dry fire and some range time you don't even really notice any difference.
  8. I found exactly the same with grams guts and TTI Pads 3 and 4mm both fit my gauge(4 with some pressure) I run them in practice mainly now or if I know I'm gonna drop a heavy mag in a reload. Dimensions were close to my STI gen 2 mags.
  9. They changed the design to a screw in type after the dovetail. I guess it was cheaper. Have you taken it to a smith and asked if its doable? It looks like the tapped hole is lower than the dovetail cut. Wonder if you could have a new racker made to your preferred geometry and have it brazed or soldered it? Maybe Rokset?
  10. I generally don't rack off the optic just because using the front serrations is so ingrained in me but when I've had some bad loads that were a little long it did give me the extra leverage during stage to clear the stuck round. I just don't want to add stress to something so vital during a stage.
  11. Elftmann 3gun triggers in my 3gun rifles, ar gold in my PRS style rifle and a Hyperfire 24c in beater that eats all the steel case and surplus.
  12. Sometimes I clamp my gopro to a wall or the base of a target stand right before I shoot. Have had zero issues at level 1 matches from shooters or RO/MD.
  13. Ive been running Kimberlin Creek Bullets since they started making them. Some fouling but nothing abnormal. the 125TC are the same mold as blues....... https://kcbulletcompany.com/ 6.5gr wac 1.16 oal 171ish PF older sti trubor no popples
  14. There will be buildup with any coated bullet(that I've tried so far at least) just gotta clean it every thousand or so so it doesn't get overwhelming. Peroxide and apple cider vinegar soak and scrape works for me.
  15. My load with the 125 truncated Kimberlin Creek bullets (same mold as the blue bullets 125TCs) 6.4 or 6.5 WAC 1.16OAL S&B SPP 171ish PF Older STI Trubor no popples
  16. Neat, wish I had this when I bought a pistol with a DPP instead of having to play around to figure it out lol. You can "laminate" them by just throwing some clear packing tape on both sides till its all covered and trim to fit.
  17. It's like the 21rnd tubes were designed to be uspsa legal and almost max capacity from the get go......
  18. 21 round tube, TTI plus 2 pads, stock guts, 23+1 semi reloadable but the 23rd is stiff to lock into the gun with slide forward. Same capacity with Grams Guts. Havent looked for stock mag springs but if the price is the same as grams I will probably just move to the grams just to match all around.
  19. Looks normal to me. What is the round count difference between the three? I've had springs be almost 1.5" shorter at the end of the season and they still ran fine but still got replaced.
  20. When I get springs usually they are unequal length so its harder to test but within a half pound the difference is negligible to me behind the gun. I do however notice when 2 10lb springs are both brand new but one is shorter do to a different brand. Gun feels a little bit different at the beginning of the recoil impulse.
  21. Don't show OOS at CMMG. https://cmmg.com/magazine-sig-sauer-p320-21-rd-blk
  22. If your mags are working as is no. Unless you just want to go without spacers for whatever reason. The gen 1s are a little harder and mine don't need tuning as often as the gen 2s. I have a ton of both but shoot mainly the gen2 because that's what I've got that are tuned currently.

    Optics Zero

Most of the locals I shoot are either point blank or 15yds. With some random longer shots mixed in so 15yds it is.
  24. Thunder Valley is still owned by the same owner, just leased to someone different now. It wont be used for shooting again unless something drastic changes.
  25. Load up day prior while packing and going through my checklist. If it feels funny I've got time to swap springs or grab different mags. I also use a AC condenser brush to clean my mags but may go to the ziptie and microfiber method for space reasons. As said before cycling springs wears them out not staying compressed. Side note I always take extra springs to the match. Cheap insurance for myself or any other shooter to finish the day.
