I've been shooting bullseye 2700 for a couple years now and have a good bit of experience with 1911's. I don't currently shoot action pistol sports as there aren't any nearby. I'm selling one of my match rifles and am thinking of buying a nice pistol, it will be for fun shooting however I would like it to be a decent pistol for all around action shooting if I decide to get into it at some point, I try to buy a lot of my firearms with a possible competition use in mind. I'm left handed and have medium hands. I also don't know if I should get .40 or 9mm, I know both excel in different sports and some depends on power factor, which caliber would cover more bases?
I'm looking at 3 options currently, the CZ Accu Shadow in 9mm, Sig X5 which seem more common in .40 and the STI 2011. Which would be a saver bet?
