I'm considering changing sights on my legion. The X-Ray sights are great for home defense but wish they where a little more precise for shooting idpa and such. Also would like something that gave more of a 6 o'clock hold or just on top of the front post instead of covering up most of the target. Any recomendations? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I like the cabelas vest bc they are a little heavier in weight and swing out of the way well. I also iron and starch it so that it is relatively stiff. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I bought a safari vest from cabelas online. But a button up shirt will work as well. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Yea. Gonna check it for accuracy. Just wanting to make sure I was in the right ballpark Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I am loading for idpa. Would like to stay at around 890 fps or 130 pf. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Loaded up some power pistol for a 9mm 147 gr load. The results where not what I expected. Velocities where higher than expected. Just wanting some other opinions on if this will be a usable powder or not. I started .2 gr lower than the start load since the data called for a 1.130 coal and I like to load at 1.125 so that it plunks and spins in all my pistols. The std deviation of the higher load was alot higher than my normal titegroup load. Shot this out my Sig 226 legion. The max load is listed as 5gr so I was nowhere close to it. I also loaded some at 4.6gr but didn't feel safe trying them. My load data 147 sns rn. 1.125. 4.2gr power pistol. 898 fps. Std deviation 5.3 147 sns rn. 1.125. 4.4gr power pistol. 925 fps. Std deviation 11.4 Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

The biggest equipment mistake I see new idpa shooters make is in holster and magazine holders. Look at the rule book and make sure that they are both legal and worn at the correct spot on your hips. There is a division for almost any gun you want to shoot. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

What constitutes a bull barrel? I understand it is thicker but at what point does it cross the line? Seems like a pretty vague term in the rule book Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Would this gun be legal in idpa? Maybe with normal p320 grip frame and 17 rd mags? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
-
Yes. Atleast for now. Supposedly sig is releasing a p320 with a flat trigger from the factory and that could allow it in SSP if enough are sold Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

3.9 would be at or over max charge. I use 3.0 on a 5" barrel gun and 3.4 on a 4.5" barrel gun. Be careful and check your load data with titegroup. It is a very fast powder the difference in min and max charges for me where about 1/2 a grain apart Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

With 2017 rulebook 2.0 the idpa BUG box has changed to 6 1/2 x 4 5/8 x 1 Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

3.0 gr titegroup 147 gr blue bullets loaded to 1.130 Plenty accurate for idpa at 130 pf Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Xds 4.0 9mm is in CCP. And yes it is very wife friendly as long as she is safe and has a basic knowledge of the pistol. Always a great thing to get your other half involved in a shooting sport. Just be careful bc feeding 2 guns gets expensive fast lol. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

As bad as it sounds it seems like it is going to take pistols in the bodyguard size to shoot BUG because most of the old pistols don't fit in the box anymore Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
-
If that's true then I think they made a big mistake. The shield is probably the most common gun that was used in BUG at the matches I've been to. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Man that's really close. Sounds like the shield or the xds 3.3 are really the best options Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Is the sig p320 subcompact still legal for bug? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I really like the looks of that holster. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Yes I'm very interested in the Summerville club as well. It's only an hour and a half from me Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Beaufort across the river from hilton head. Have been looking for some pistol and rifle and possibly 3gun matches in the state but there doesn't seem to be many options. Would love to know where you go to compete within a reasonable drive. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

They where for a 226r. I have seen a few holster companies do make separate holsters for 226r and 226 elite. I assume it is for this reason. Only problem is these have been kydex/leather hybrids like the blackpoint. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

I didn't realize that they didn't fit either until I purchased 1 and it absolutely would not fit. The front cocking serations make the front half of the frame too wide. I imagine all elite series sigs have this problem. I have seen the blackpoint tactical holsters and yes they are nice but I really would like something more like a paddle holster that could go on a gun belt if I decided to compete Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Looking for a good kydex holster for my legion. Would like a paddle style holster. Safari land and Blackhawk won't work tried both. The front of slide is too wide and will not fit. I bought a cheap alien gear holster but the retention will not get as tight as I would prefer. Have been looking at a few leather holsters but they don't allow for easy on/off.
