Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Finished my cart today, came out pretty good and still able to be folded just have to take off 1 part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I ended up ordering one from Rose Action Sports and shot it for the first time yesterday! Great gun and quality! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I'm going to be ordering one from Steve Rose and RAS, save me about $600 over TTI and have heard from many I won't be disappointed!
  4. Tom commented on a Facebook post I made looking for an M2 and said he has been really behind on parts because of his health, it sucks to hear as he has become the leader in Stoeger and Franchi parts for 3 gun Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for the replies, I talked to my buddy who is a machinist and helped with making the lower, of the 20 some guys who ordered and cut the lowers nobody got a screw in pin, which is at the start worrisome as I don't know how often it would need replaced! The pin is tight I tapped it in with small hammer, I'll try the utility knife if not prolly going to use Dremel and try to cut the pin on 1 side. I did however find another issue with it as well, had it cerakoted and put in a pmag and it is a REALLY tight fit, mag has to be pulled out somewhat hard, so now on top of first issue I have this too. Might try taking back to shop who did coating and has a gunsmith on site and see what the can do. Worst case scenario I have to order a new lower and bolt catch! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah I'm starting to think my buddy who ordered them didn't give it to me when we cut them as they were 80% lowers. I did use a pin so I may have to try my easy out kit! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Hope somebody can help me!!! I have a hellfire lower and when installing the bolt catch I forgot to put in the spring and detent before I put the pin in, the hellfires don't have a hole on the other side so I can't just punch the pin out the other side, any ideas on how to get the roll pin out so I can fix? Or will gun still work and shoot fine without them? Super mad right now so any advice appreciated!
  8. Has anyone sent their M2 to Hawkeye Ordinance for their competition package or shot an M2 they customized? I've been trying to finish off my setup for 3 gun and all that's left is shotgun.
  9. Good luck on the MOA emails, he's been pretty sick but I tried to get ahold of them in Nov and Dec and last try was via Facebook beginning of January, nothing so I've decided to spend the extra and get a TTI. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Need to find one of those discounts for myself! I'd definitely do that over the M3K. 1911VM I'm still waiting to hear back from MOA to finalize pricing but I haven't had much luck in getting a response back to finalize it.
  11. RolexJohn where did you find a performance shop model for $1500?? I've been starting to plan for a new shotgun as I'm getting into 3 gun and have been considering the M3K as after MOA gets done I would be in it for just about $1100, versus $2900 for an M2 from TTI. I would rather put the extra money towards ammo and possibly a reloader next year.
  12. Daft I did look at 1301 but not a fan, however I'm now looking at a M3000 or M3K, sent an email to MOA tonight to check some pricing. If I can get that for half the price of the m2 from TTI I might just go that route.
  13. Good point I ordered one got it pretty quick, now to get my rifle built and winter to end so I can shoot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I am planning to start shooting 3 gun next year, I have been a IDPA shooter for a few years at local matches, which I plan to keep shooting and do 3 gun with my G19. I am planning to buy a shotgun as I only have a pump right now, I know I want to go with a Benelli based on what I have read here and at other forums but am curious as to thoughts on buying a M2 from Taran Tactical with their package installed directly or buying local and then putting parts and pieces on over time since I'm already laying out a good chunk of money just to get started, or sending to Taran after a year or 2. Thanks for the advice, can't wait for winter to be over and get back to shooting!
  15. Is the plastic one as durable? I've seen some printed parts that were as durable as some metal pieces in small parts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
