I shoot Single Stack minor too, and have shot every gun you’ve mentioned, and owned a Range Officer, a Trojan (in 40, and I still own it) and a PM9. They are all good. For under $1000, the Range Officer is hands down the way to go. Good gun, but lacks a few niceties. Between the Trojan and the PM9, it’s a tight race, but I do slightly prefer my PM9. It’s mostly the frame that I prefer. The stock internals are good, although I have replaced mine with EGW stuff because they are known to last a long time, and I like the feel of the trigger break. I’d say, if you don’t care about forward cocking serrations, an undercut trigger guard, front strap checkering, or a .250 beaver tail radius, go with the RO. I do care about that stuff, because I’ve shot 1911s for a long time and have strong preferences. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
