Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Yeah I think it turned out pretty good. Pretty durable tape too, handled a stormy hour trip home in the back of the truck and dried out fine. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  2. Here's one I "remodeled".... Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  4. So would the standard SP01 be fine for SSP even with a magwell or does that throw it in ESP? Sent from my SM-T337V using Tapatalk
  5. I recently picked up a SP01 that has a FO green front and serrated/black rear sight, I assume they're Dawsons. I plan on changing the green FO to red. Sent from my SM-T337V using Tapatalk
  6. You could order the plugs to fill the void after removing the thumb safety. S&W should send them to you for free. Just an option... Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  7. I ran my new m&p 5" 2.0 in Production for the first time last Saturday. I was pleased with the performance, although the slide safety takes some adjusting to. The felt recoil seemed lighter to me than other M&Ps, but I haven't had a chance to shoot them side by side. I did notice the slide "auto forward" on a couple reloads during the match which I thought the newer slide stop was supposed to prevent. No complaints from me but I'd like to do some more range practice with to make sure it just wasn't a fluke. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  8. Nice to meet you at Vinegar Bend the other day Broski. I'll add to the others that dryfire practice at the house helps you create good habits, specifically in draw and grip. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  9. This is my current LM rig for USPSA(minus the grip safety and magwell for production) The PRP trigger makes it excellent to shoot, and it comes out of the box with good sights. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  10. If it's ok with the OP, I'll piggyback on this thread. I've been contemplating moving from limited minor to production for a couple reasons, work on fundamentals and potentially be more competitive without spending big money on a new gun. IMO, I feel like shooting LM puts you behind the game with the major guys. I may be over thinking this though Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the insight. I'll probably stick to limited minor with this one. I have a m&p 9 w/ an apex trigger that would fit the production division, I just like the xdm trigger better.
  12. At the time I wasn't concerned about the external part because it's a limited minor gun. Just wanted to clarify on the rule before trying to shoot production with it. Looks like I may have to swap it out...or run a m&p pro.
  13. Thanks for the replies. I'll contact PRP and see if there's something they have written up on the part. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  14. I've skimmed thru the production rules about mods to internal parts and wanted another opinion. I changed out the grip safety of my xdm with a PRP extended one awhile back. Will this "visibly" external mod kick it out of production or is it still covered under internal parts? Thanks Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  15. This right here is a good example of using front serrations. I like my pistols to have them as well.Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
