  1. This is something I recently noticed in my shooting too. I'm not shooting at your level by any means, but I still see major improvements when I make sure my grip is solid and steady through the entire magazine. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  2. Work speed and accuracy separately in dry fire. While I have quoted Steve Anderson in the past the principle is universal. Example, I found a little article about learning to speed read by Tim Ferris and the process has one focus on speed and then comprehension. I tried it and increased my comprehensible reading speed by 300%. Steve Anderson talks about speed, accuracy, and match mode. Now is that drill possible? I don't know, but that's how to approach the underlying principle. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  3. I made a batch of videos going through assembly, disassembly, and some modification explanations for CZ 75 and SP-01 pistols. A member from here came over to the czfirearms.us forum and asked me about them before they were posted, so I figured I would share them here. I just changed them to "public", so anyone can find them. I have some more that I am editing and uploading, but this is the bulk of them for now. I'm not a professional videographer so forgive the shortcomings of me and/or my equipment at times. Hope these help you fine gentlemen and ladies out! If you have questions, requests, or suggestions just let me know. Here's the thread I'm posting this to on the czfirearms.us forum. There are some crazy smart people over there that are really knowledgeable about CZ's that are always helpful if you have more questions. Plus CZ Custom and Cajun Gun Works are pretty active there. Anyways, like I said, I hope this helps and thank you all for the information you post here. I lurk here often and appreciate all the great shooting help you all share. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=85985.0 The link to the playlist on YouTube.
  4. I don't compete yet, but I'd get the jitters when I'd start shooting for fun. Then one day I realized how to change the way I dealt with this. When I was younger I would do some racing on quads and in my car. Whenever I hit the gas and started going fast that adrenaline raced through my whole body, but I wasn't jittery. It was this thrill that immediately brought an insane calm and focus. I could process things without a problem going 150mph or drifting through a turn on a dirt road. Now when I go shoot for fun I think back and remember those times. That way I've already started to focus on processing my adrenaline in a productive way rather than getting jittery. I guess it is reframing the way you process the event to be an intense positive thrill. Lenny Bassham does a better job than I ever could explaining more about jitters and starting a completion in his book.
