Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Thanks, kind of hard to conceal a full size Beretta 92 as is, without a 20 rd mag sticking out of the bottom of it
  2. Anyone tried these? Are they worth the $50 price tag? In the sandbox and having to change to a Beretta 92 and I want some reliable mags. I know there were some issues with 92 mags but I didn't remember if it was just a bad batch or the OEM mags just don't work well over here. Didn't know if these were the fix to the issues seen over here or what. I am a glock guy so I don't have a knowledge base with 92's. Haven't carried one since the mid 90's.
  3. So where will a guy be able to get them? Or is that unknown at this time?
  4. Yes there are recoil springs available. ISMI makes about every poundage possible, find one that will work with the load you want. No, the trigger with trigger bar is G21 specific. So are strikers and ejector housing. Disconnect and springs are standard parts. Most places that you can get parts for will show what models they work on. Just make sure you test everything pre match to make sure you haven't compromised your Glock reliability.
  5. Glockmeister or Arredondo Not sure if Arredondo has the stock length springs, if that is what you are looking for. Glockmeister has what ya need, but if you are building extended mags then just get the Arredondo kit and add some followers.
  6. Miwall Shot thousands of Miwall in 223 and 40. No issues at all. Once fired commercial reloaded ammo. Good stuff when its in stock. $279/K Just noticed your east coast. East Coast warehouse is out, only west coast has it in right now. Oh well, something to keep in mind for next time I guess. They make good stuff.
  7. Anything built by Benny is gonna run better than stock (insert random brand name here). Get a Benny 930 and buy once, cry once. If you buy stock in the end you will want to upgrade it and end up spending more money to trick it out. Its inevitable.
  8. Saw PMAG so I am guessing AR 10. Here ya go for those Brownells Reviews are not flattering so who knows. Hopefully some HM guys will answer up I use these for my AR mags and they are great and I highly recommend them. Here are their 308 version. Wilderness Tactical
  9. Help us out and tell us what type of 308 you will be shooting so we know what kind of mags you are trying to carry.
  10. Found them, not in the magnification range I am looking for. So no one has any word on the Weaver? I looked at the Millet, Bayou is that a FFP or SFP reticle?
  11. Looking for an affordable paper punching scope for a 308 bolt gun. I can get a screaming deal on one of these, MSRP $1000. I can score one for half price. Will this be an accurate scope? I know its no S&B, NF, or USO but I don't have the money in the budget for one of those and my life will not depend on this rifle. But will the weaver glass be good and hold accuracy? Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Seeing as how it is only with that mag and not others it can't be the gun. I guess you got a bad mag. Is there anything different about the top of the mag compared to the other ones? Because usually it is the follower that trips the slide lock to lock the gun open on an empty mag. Maybe there is something on the top front of the mag that is out of spec that is tripping the slide lock? If that is the case you might be able to trim the front of the mag so it won't do that. It being new I would say return it and get a new one. Maybe call Glock and they would hook you up if you can't get a refund from where you got it from. Good Luck!!
  13. The insert is worth the 1 oz difference IMHO. And it balances nice. Especially if you are going to have all that weight up front. As for a suppressor during a match, I dunno. It wouldn't be competitive but don't know if it is legal.
