  1. I use only nickel coated mags. AFC is initially slicker, but wears off easily. My nickel coated mags look like a new after many years of hard use.
  2. With all mags? Only the first round? Also when mag is not fully loaded?
  3. What happens to the top round?
  4. Extra power spring is a wrong fix for feeding problem. It just covers the actual problem. Check your guns breach face bottom edge, bottom of slide, extractor and feed ramp. All my CZ's are having reduced power magazine springs for greater capacity, more reliable locking and reduced power recoil spring (less friction). No feeding problems.
  5. You can order your 1911 and 2011 from many custom builders without the grip safety.
  6. The link for spring calculation page was supplied few posts ago. It will give you the spring rate. You got the rest right.
  7. If you are looking for a reliable slide lock use the factory follower. You can trim it for greater capacity, but don't expect the same as with Grams or CZC followers..
  8. In the calculations you need to know how much spring is compressed. The slide cycle will not fully compress the recoil spring. You can multiply the spring rate by compression length to get calculated lb value. This is usually quite close to the measured lb value. Be careful in the spring diameter measurements. A small error will make a big difference in the spring rate.
  9. Mag release looks quite beaten. Try to use less force when inserting mags.
  10. I've seen the same happening to quite new guns. Shouldn't be worn out springs then.
  11. The new optics divisions are finally getting dedicated models. CZ Shadow 2 Optics Ready was just announced and now is CZ P-10 C OR on factory's web page.
  12. Thank's. It seems to have TSO style trigger guard, but old style dust cover.
  13. Read also posts below quoted. It was IPSC list not IDPA. Shadow 2 doesn't make weight in IDPA.
  14. Yes, I was wrong. I mixed the angles. Orange looks always great.
  15. Please check base pads. They seem to be installed wrong way.

    Thick grips for SP01

Klinsky is comfortable, but not for a high grip.
  17. CZ Standard IPSC .40 was breaking slides without a buffer. All CZ's break slide stop's. CM is major and using a 10 lb recoil spring so it should also work fine in regular TS .40.
  18. The crack has started from rails. The lighting cuts have very little to do with the failure. The smith has put a larger radius corner on it, which is good. There is a reason why factory ships these with a buffer installed.
  19. Good combo for CZ Compact is the standard 16 rounds (nickel plated) magazine with Shadows 18 rounds magazine's base pad.
  20. They are all good. What are you shooting?
  21. Would be true if not connected to much bigger vessel i.e. the barrel.
  22. They are made in Finland. The company is owned by two top IPSC shotgun shooters Jaakko Viitala and Kim Leppänen. Gen4 is an old model. Gen5 is simply the best twin/quad load shell holder available today.
