  1. And fava beans. Glad your situation was taken care of
  2. This is an image from LOK grips that shows the different frame sizes for Tanfoglio pistols. Since yours is a 9mm, it's probably a small frame, long length. Verify with the image below.

    Mag Surface Rust

You can use one of the thermoset resins that are available like KG Gunkote or Norrell's MolyResin to coat them. If properly applied they can withstand 1000 hours in a salt spray test. Alternatively you can send them off to a place like Mahovsky's Metalife and have them plated with Nickel Boron or hard chrome.
  4. Just in case someone is interested in a Tanfoglio 9mm match conversion, there's one over on the AK files that seems to be a pretty good deal for $250 with a single mag. Additional mags are available. I was considering it for my elite match 10mm, but I really don't need another 9mm. Here's a link... https://www.akfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=402540&highlight=9mm+conversion I have no affiliation with the seller other than I inquired about it and decided not to purchase. If this is against the rules I apologize.
  5. Wolff springs go all the way up to 22lb for the full size Tanfo pistols. The Witness pistols have a different slide profile, more rounded and had a tendency to crack. Compare the Witness slide to the higher end Match pistol slides and they have more material in this area.
  6. I also purchased the LOK grips for my 10mm Elite match and they did not fit. Same fit as the EGD grips. I went with the Henning grips as well and they fit great.
  7. Are they actually color anodized or are they coated with a paint. If anodized maybe they did not seal them properly. Typically color anodizing is a dye that penetrates into the surface then it is sealed in a metal salt bath.
  8. There are some aftermarket ones that are urethane castings of the factory wood grips and that looks like them. Ebay has them.
  9. They definitely do not fit the Elite Match. Ask me how I know... LOK needs to tell people what it fits. They will definitely NOT fit the Elite Match or the Witness Large frame models. It WILL fit the square trigger guard models. I was told it would fit mine. I am now running Henning's smooth grips with some traction tape on them.
  10. I have a P1 standard and the only thing I would do is add the FO front sight which I believe the Ultra has. Plus the ultra has the nicer target rear sight as well. Mine is regulated at at 6 o'clock hold.
  11. Good deal. I would try to contact LPA directly and tell them of your woe's and see if they could cough up a few spare screws. I would include some of your pics. I'm sure someone there speaks English. info@lpasights.com If not you could try the US distributor http://www.fusionfirearms.com
  12. Did you stay with the stock front sight or did you switch it out? Thanks.
  13. I have an Elite Match that has the LPA MPS2TA30 adjustable sight on it. I am wondering who would be a good smith to have the slide modified to add a Supersight or a BoMar style sight? Any recommendations for an adjustable sight or should I go with the Henning fixed target sight? I would like to add the FO front but I don't think it will work with the stock LPA sight because it is taller and I may run out of elevation adjustment. Thanks.
