I’ve got one sitting in a box I picked up off of Arfcom. It’s sitting in a box in my gunroom because my experience is just as @tt350z stated above.

I used a small strip of double sided tape at the base of the front panel to eliminate the wiggle.

I kept the original trigger. It felt much better after I polished metal to metal surfaces.

Somewhat related… Anyone have the 23rd OEM magazines and know the length? Curious if I might want to tinker with the FPC, and if the mags are longer than 140mm (so they could do double duty in M&P Metal Comp).

The only way I know of is the reverse of how you assembled them.

Am I the only one that used Ed Brown magazines?

I’ve ordered a Floyd’s Custom brass magwell for mine and will be interested to see the amount of clearance I get with the TF extensions. I may me up having to remove a little brass to get the clearance I need.

I started shooting USPSA back in ‘94 with a 1911 out of my duty rig. Later I transitioned to my EDC set up, and then started gaming. Never stopped having fun, and watched my overall shooting skills progress as I shot/competed more.

Funny that I see this now, as yesterday I did a g00gle search and came up with an older thread recommending @aandabooks hangers. I just ordered one off eBay (2” wide model) to use with a 5198 1911 holster.

What tungsten weights and putty did you use? How much weight were you able to add with just this?

So currently we only have Zelle as a means to make donations? Any others still available?
