I have not heard of a happy medium...it really depends on what your 2011 can reliably feed more then anything. Your more limited on the CZ Tac sport with Magazine not being able to fit in a longer round. My Tac Sport can get about 1.140 before I have issue you might need to load some test rounds to see what fits your mags well. If your 2011 can shoot a 1.130 - 1.140 well then that is your answer...but from what I have heard that is not likely.

I have had this happen when I changed out my firing pin with an extended firing pin...which required me to change out the firing pin spring which was lighter then stock...this caused the issue you described. I would check that spring and see if it needs to be replaced.

I had this same problem. It was the extractor...it was good you smoothed the extractor tooth some but did you also sand the channel as well? Also, after doing this I had to change the OEM extractor spring to a +25% extractor spring and I now over 8k rounds through my CZ with no issues whatsoever. I would look again at the tooth and slightly profile it...800 grit sandpaper is what I used and made sure it was very little at a time. This issue was more prevelant in my reloads then factory ammo...I think its because reload brass had some nicks and scratches on the back end of the brass that the extractor would get caught on.

I have the basepads....it's not ideal to take break down at the range because of the Hex Screw setup. I am waiting for Taran Tactical to finally get his TS basepads into production....soon I hope.

Was great shooting with you at Area 2. My very first major competition and although I did not do that great I gained a ton of experience. Nice to see how a GM handled the stages!

I do no run that specific bullet myself....I use 180 gr blue bullets and 180 gr rmr. But they both load at 1.125...I could load out farther to 1.135 but then I start running into issues with the magazine not feeding the round correctly.

I am having the same issue with a Tactical Sport. Cleaned the Extractor even polished the inside just a bit to see if it would feed more reliably. The fix for me was to actually cut the spring a bit and that seems to have fixed the problem for me. The spring was too tight and was not allowing the brass to fly up the extractor.
