  1. Does anyone have the address to the range? Something I can plug into Mapquest to get directions? Thanks in advance. Doug
  2. Thanks everyone for the help. Looks like there is a new mag pouch in my future. Doug If that is the box fed unit, it will be illegal in 2013. The belt feed is four individual mag pouches bolted together in a staggered configuration, so that the four pouches occupy the real estate of ~ 3 pouches.... I can't think of a reason why that wouldn't be legal, if it meets the distance criteria -- and that should be easy considering how slim SS mags are.... Yep the words "belt feed" made me question it. Gary I know you old guys have trouble keeping up with all the latest gadgets on the market...... :D Now Gordon Davis pouches or Ernie Hill leather -- those you'd probably remember...... What do you mean remember? I still have some

  4. I tried looking for this using the search function but had no luck. I am looking for a little new gear for 2012 but have heard that the belt fed mag pouch may be illegal or going to be made illegal. Has anyone else heard this. Thanks for the help. Doug
  5. JQ I am sorry for your loss also. Thanks for putting this in words. I am surprised how many of us there are here also but thankful we can be here for each other. I am also thankful that Brian allows us to keep this discussion going. My prayers are with your all! Doug
  6. Thanksgiving was the third anniversary of Julie's passing. Starting 4 years without her. Sometimes it seems like yesterday and sometimes it seems like a million years.
  7. Mine was tight but due to recommendations form this forum I bought 10 Tripp magazines. (It came with a 9 rounder and a 10 round Dawson) I have almost 1000 rounds thru this gun without a hiccup. I love this gun!!!
  8. I don't care if you use what I wrote. I don't see much in my post that would help but if you do feel free. Hopes and wishes that you are doing well! Doug
  9. Slight Thread Drift Here: Aircooled6racer, I think I remember you getting one of the STI Spartans in 9mm. If so how is that gun working with the Tripp mags? Are you happy with it? I thinking of the same set-up and wanted a little feed back. Thanks for your help. Thread drift off You are now being returned to your regular thread.
  10. Another vote for Clays. I use it with 185 Gr Precision SWC and it is great. I use Longshot for my 230 Gr Round Nose for bowling pins.
  11. I bought a piece of windsheild washer hose on Sunday. It's 7/64" (1/8" = 8/64) and it seems to be working fine.
  12. Well I tried all of the tips here! Thanks everyone. I was able to build 500 rounds of 45 ACP ammo afterwards but the lock ring is still moving ever so slightly but it is moving. Sure seems like a set screw would be in order. If anyone has any other suggestions I am all for them. Thanks
  13. Or being on the other end of the spectrum 45 ACP that take small pistol primers. I sort all my brass by headstamp now since I have to sort them to get out this NT crap :angry2:
