Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I used a new ILWT barrel and gas system today and still had the same issues i was having with my OEM barrel and gas system. I first thought it was the extra power spring in my +11 TT extension, but it was also happening in my 30 round Sig mag. I also thought it was the small gas port in my Gen 2 barrel, but i replaced it with the new barrel. I am going to try to change the hammer springs in my trigger to see if that may be the issue. Still trying to pinpoint the issue. On a side note: the ILWT/ Taccom barrel and handguard combo is great. It is quite a bit lighter than the original setup.
  2. This was my thought also, but the gas system today was new with the new barrel and the ammo was about PF 145.
  3. Good Afternoon- I have been having issues with my MPX Gen 2 Carbine. The issue I am having is the rifle firing and what appears to short stroke causing the round to not feed. Changes to the OEM rifle: -Hiperfire 24C trigger with lightest pull springs -ILWT 6" barrel with Taccom extension - KNS Anti-rotational pins This issue happened twice in USPSA this weekend and has happened almost once ever magazine. Today, the bolt stopped halfway open without ejecting the spent case. This got me thinking that maybe the light trigger springs (making the hardest hammer strike) could possibly be causing the bolt to slow down to a speed that would cause this issue. Question: could the idea above be possible? Thanks in advance!
  4. I have tried Longshot and it is filthy in my MPX. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  5. What coated bullet and weight do you use? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  6. I forgot to add that they are powder coated. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  7. I am having issues reloading for my MPX. I currently am trying to load lead bullets that i mold myself and size to .356 (both 125 and 147 gr). I was wondering if anyone has had their MPX 16" carbine barrel reamed? If so, could you suggest someone? I had read in another forum that someone tried but the barrel was chrome-lined (though i am unable to confirm this). Any help would be appreciated.
  8. After reading this post I ordered a Glock 19 15 lb. spring for my SS guide rod. It was much shorter that my factory spring and would not lock up the slide. I cannot find the overall length of the Glock 17 spring, but I think it may be best to try to modify a 1911 flat spring to ensure that it is long enough to lock slide. This is only a suggestion.
