Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. You could try a wtb at the desert eagle forum at thedeserteagle.yuku.com Other than that, gunbroker, eBay, numrich or MRI
  2. So did you get it? Post a pic! I got a couple STIs myself recently. Edge and marauder, just because of the SSE thing. Took a hit to the pocketbook but there's slim chances of getting one from here on out.
  3. Because of the weight?Eagle is lighter and thus legal in IDPA? What is the difference between the two besides the dust cover? Difference is the short dust cover and bushing barrel vs bull barrel and full dust cover on the edge. I beleive both are also requirements for idpa, but not 100% on that
  4. Cool and dry location, powder and primers separate, and away from the loading bench. One powder on the bench at a time.
  5. Seems like you have a zero moa rail by the numbers you gave. How far you planning on shooting?
  6. No experience with either of the two but if it was me I'd go for the M&P Outside of that I'd get an STI, that's what I went with.
  7. Have the LNL progressive and single stage and an ammomaster. Only thing I would change in hindsight is get a rock chucker or other non quick change single stage. The quick change bushings add up when you have a bunch of calibers to reload.
  8. That is a very fast turnaround time, nice shooing too!
  9. awesome! I went 6.5x47, but very similar build. How long did it take?
  10. Dawson's won't ship to CA, I've called them before. Brazos will, I just ordered one today, will be my last unless the list gets abolished, but I'm not holding my breath.
  11. Nice setup. Never had a problem with a good vice, punches and hammer
  12. I could see replacing a stock glock barrel with a drop in for various reasons, but I would think a 1911 type gun would need to be fitted by a good smith. And even then with the STI, one would have to be good enough to out shoot that stock barrel (not me). At that point I'd be looking to go custom build.
  13. Have the v3 and it works great. I like that tripod idea for handguns, I'll have to see if I can rig something up one of these days.
  14. Wow looks very nice! Is that a zev tech trigger? How do you like it?
