Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I run my SV in a Safariland GLS Pro Fit Long. It is, hands down, the best 3-Gun holster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Safariland seem to work well, but I've only been using for a week. They were not as good for my M&P, but they seem to hold a lot better for my SVI mags. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. @usmc1094 I'm hearing they all fit. Just depends on what spacer you end up using. I'm getting mine on Friday and will start with my M&P before my DVC ships.
  4. Thx. Hopefully I'll see you at one of the regionals and get the chance to buy you a beer. I doubt you're making it this far east, but I'll be at the 3-Gun Eastern Regional in WV next month.
  5. Awesome video @AustinWolv, thanks! Which Drop Offset are you using? I see you're running the Safariland QLS clip.
  6. Wow, what an awesome response @AustinWolv! Thank you! I've only posted here a few times and you certainly have giving me more info than I could have asked for. One more question since you clearly know your stuff. I had the Bladetech mag holders and I'm having trouble with my M&P magazines. If I tighten them and if there is any angle to my pull at all, I can't get the mag out. If I loosen them, they have been falling out on stages (cost me 20 seconds at regionals this weekend).
  7. I wanted the Profit as well for an STI DVC. I called and they say it won't fit. . .
  8. I called Safariland and Bladetech and both say they don't have a holster for the STI DVC Limited 9 with level II retention. I recently ordered and I'm trying to find something with a thumb drive or some other level II retention. I LOVE the idea of the 579 GLS Pro from Safariland with the Middle finger release, but they don't make it for the DVC. I need Level II because the crazy things they have us doing along with the Battle Rattle's I compete in make it easy for a Level I to fail. Thanks for your help!
  9. I've read a ton of threads, but I've got a pretty specific question. I've competed in Pistol and Rifle for a couple years or so and have only done one Shotgun comp. For my 3gun shotgun, I have narrowed down my choices to the Beretta 1301 or the Versa Max Competition Tactical. Here's the wrench. I've got a match the first week of October and a training class the day before it with Daniel Horner (couldn't resist the chance to shoot with him). I will not have time to send it off to a gunsmith and I want to get the most possible out of the class. I've heard that the loading port on the VM comp is better, but there are issues that need a dremel and it's heavier. The Beretta apparently needs a bunch of work on the loading port and the serial number keeps you from widening it a bunch in the future. Again, goal is to get the most out of the class. Added bonus would be a good shotgun I can grow with in 3gun. Also, does the length matter (I'd imagine the need for an extended tube makes the longer shotgun make sense). I appreciate your help!
